About this file

This document is a Scope of Work and Specifications for the Delta College P Wing Roof Replacement project. The project involves installing a new 60 mil PVC roof system on approximately 49,141 square feet across 6 different roof elevations of an existing building. The existing roofs, originally installed in 2003, are fully adhered 60 mil PVC systems, with roof decks primarily made of steel except for the shipping and receiving area, which is concrete.

The project scope includes removing and discarding existing copings, gravel stops, walkways, and roof flashings, with some components like counter flashings and a south side corridor gutter to be reused. The contractor will cut the existing PVC membrane into 10' x 10' sections, mechanically attach a cover board, and install a new fully adhered PVC roof system from approved manufacturers including Carlisle Syn Tec Incorporated, GAF, and Johns Manville. The project requires proper flashing of perimeters and penetrations, installation of new clear anodized copings and gravel stops, and light gray PVC walkways. The new roof will carry a 20-year non-perforated NDL (No Dollar Limit) warranty.
