About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the City of Orlando's Procurement and Contracts Division for grounds maintenance services at Orlando Venues facilities. The solicitation (IFB24-0364) seeks qualified firms to provide comprehensive grounds maintenance for the Kia Center, Camping World Stadium, Tinker Field, and associated areas, including weekly mowing, edging, blowing, weeding, tree and plant care, mulch application, herbicide treatment, and palm tree pruning. The contract will be for an initial one-year term with the potential for four additional twelve-month renewals, for a maximum contract period of five years. The bid response is due on June 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with a non-mandatory virtual pre-bid conference scheduled for May 23, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
The pricing structure includes mandatory and optional line items with per-year and per-request pricing for various maintenance services across different venues. Mandatory pricing covers regular grounds maintenance, mulch applications, herbicide treatments, and tree pruning, with quantities ranging from 1-52 per year depending on the specific service and location. Optional pricing includes additional services such as different mulch types, herbicide applications, edging, weeding, and specialized maintenance for specific areas like Lake Beardall. The City emphasizes electronic submission through their e-Procurement Portal and requires respondents to complete various forms, including references, certifications, and insurance documentation. Contractors must have current employees with specific pesticide applicator licenses and demonstrate at least three years of commercial grounds maintenance experience.
