About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 for a Drone Services Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) on July 21, 2025. The addendum provides key clarifications for prospective proposers, with bids due by 2:00 p.m. local time on July 25, 2025, to be submitted electronically via email to arossi@ouc.com. The RFP seeks drone services primarily for storm response, with OUC indicating flexibility in the number of suppliers to be awarded and the potential deployment of 1-2 drone teams per company depending on storm severity.

The addendum specifies technical requirements for the drone services, including a recommended minimum camera resolution of 12 megapixels to ensure readability of meter tags and displays. Proposers must provide Part 107 Certified Pilot Licenses and their Company's Business License. The document emphasizes strict communication protocols, mandating that all communication regarding the RFP must be directed exclusively to the buyer of record. Proposers are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum, with failure to do so potentially resulting in a non-responsive bid classification.
