About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 issued by the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) for a Drone Services contract, dated July 21, 2025. The addendum provides clarification for a Request for Proposal (RFP) for drone services specifically focused on emergency storm response. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. local time on July 25, 2025, with electronic submittals to be sent via email. The addendum addresses key questions about the contract, including the number of companies to be awarded, expected drone team deployments, camera resolution requirements, and necessary licensing.

The addendum specifies that OUC will determine the appropriate number of suppliers to be awarded, with drone team deployments potentially ranging from 1-2 teams per company depending on storm severity. Camera requirements mandate a minimum 12-megapixel resolution to ensure readability of meter tags and displays. Licensing requirements include Part 107 Certified Pilot Licenses and the company's business license. The document emphasizes strict communication protocols, prohibiting contact with OUC personnel about the RFQ except through the buyer of record. Proposers must acknowledge receipt of this addendum, or their bid may be considered non-responsive.
