About this file

The file is an Offeror Certification Survey for an F-16 Boresight System related to a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base. The survey requires offerors to certify that the F-16 Boresight System submitted for the Operational User Evaluation (OUE) represents the base unit they intend to provide if awarded the contract, with compliance to specific technical requirements including confidence checks, boresighting, aircraft sub-systems, weight and dimensions, calibration, operational temperature range, and Technology Readiness Level (TRL).

The draft RFP is a pre-solicitation document released to engage industry and gather insights from potential offerors, with feedback requested by close of business on 12 September 2025. The document emphasizes that this is not a formal solicitation, will not result in a contract award, and does not obligate the USAF to cover any response-related costs. Offerors must also indicate whether their proposed units can be calibrated without an additional calibration kit or require a separate calibration kit not supplied with the unit.
