Apple Macintosh Technical and Maintenance Support

Vendor Questions and Responses

1. Could you give me some idea as to the format that you are looking for?

Response: We provided a format in the Synopsis of the requirement. Basically we ask you to follow the evaluation factors (Experience, Past Performance, and Internal Operating Standards) for the technical portion of your proposal. We asked for the Price Proposal to be a separate document.

2. How long would you expect the finished responses to be in terms of pages? We would be able to summarize this in 3-5 pages, but in reviewing your format requirements, we are looking at more like 20-30 pages.

Response: We are not requiring any specific number of pages. We did give guidance on the maximum size for some items, which by our count would be approximately 12 pages. Use as little or as much space as you need to provide the information required and to present your company’s capabilities in their best light.

3. Is there size limitation i.e. revenue for a vendor interested in pursuing this opportunity?

Response: Companies with a NAICS code of 541512 must gross under $23M per year to pursue this opportunity. This requirement will not exceed $100,000 for the life of the agreement.

4. Would like to receive a company capability brief and statement?

Response: This should be included in the Technical Proposal, Factor One, Section A.

5. Is a new solicitation? If not, what was the winning bid amount the previous year?

Response: This is a new solicitation/requirement.

5. We are hoping that you could provide us with a list of hardware that will need to be covered.

Response: The following is the current listing of equipment.
