About this file
This disclosure statement pertains to a request for quotes issued by the Washington Convention and Sports Authority, operating as Events DC, located in the District of Columbia, for Annual Fire Extinguisher Inspection & Maintenance Services/Equipment. The document establishes disclosure requirements for all principals submitting proposals to identify any past or present business, familial, or personal relationships with Events DC Board of Directors members and key staff personnel. The RFQ is designated exclusively for District of Columbia Department of Small, Local, and Business Development (DSLBD) certified business enterprises. Interested parties may access the complete RFQ documentation through Events DC's e-procurement website at https://eventsdc.com/about/procurement.
The disclosure statement requires each principal to submit a signed and dated statement disclosing relationships with 11 identified Board of Directors members and 18 key staff members holding positions ranging from President and Chief Executive Officer to Senior Director of Contracts and Procurement. If no relationships exist, a signed statement confirming the absence of such relationships may be submitted. If relationships do exist, the disclosure statement must detail the nature of those relationships and include certification that the disclosure represents a full and accurate accounting of any connections with Events DC Board and staff members. This disclosure requirement ensures transparency and helps identify any potential conflicts of interest in the procurement process.
