About this file
This is a Disclosure Statement issued by the Washington Convention and Sports Authority, doing business as Events DC, in connection with a Uniform Purchase Services solicitation for the District of Columbia. The disclosure statement requires all principals submitting proposals to disclose any past or present business, familial, or personal relationships with Events DC Board of Directors members, including Chairman Leif Dormsjo, Treasurer Cherrie Doggett, and nine additional board members, as well as key staff members across multiple departments including President and Chief Executive Officer Angie M. Gates, Executive Vice President Dr. Steven G. Johnson, General Counsel Nicole Becton Jackson, and approximately fifteen additional senior staff and management personnel.
Proposing firms must submit a signed and dated statement disclosing such relationships or certifying that no such relationships exist. If relationships are identified, the statement must detail the nature of each relationship and include a signed certification affirming the accuracy and completeness of the disclosure. All principals involved in the proposal must sign the disclosure statement personally. This requirement ensures transparency and allows Events DC to evaluate potential conflicts of interest in the procurement process.
