About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury for market research on food service contracting capabilities. Treasury is conducting market research to determine the availability, adequacy, and capabilities of businesses able to perform under an attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The proposed NAICS code is 722310 – Food Service Contractors with a Small Business Size Standard of $41.5M. Treasury is contemplating use of the GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) for this requirement and seeks vendor feedback on GSA MAS suitability, including identification of the most appropriate Special Item Number (SIN).

Vendors must submit responses by 1300 ET on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, via email to Contracting Officer Ricky Callahan Jr. at Ricky.Callahan@treasury.gov. Responses are limited to ten pages (letter size), single-spaced, 12-point font minimum. Interested vendors must provide a capability statement containing GSA MAS Schedule Number (if applicable), SAM UEI Number, point of contact, business size designation, and applicable socio-economic categories (SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, VOSB, EDWOSB). The Government requests industry feedback on the draft PWS addressing feasibility (task achievability, alignment with commercial practices, reasonable timelines, and clear requirements) and suggestions for PWS improvements and identification of non-commercial practices. The RFI explicitly states this is not a commitment to issue a solicitation or award a contract, and all response costs are solely at the respondee's expense. If a contract is ultimately pursued, RFI responses will be used to aid in establishment of an award.
