Wellness Program.
In February 2010, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the General Services Administration (GSA) initiated a partnership to develop specialized food, nutrition, and sustainability guidelines for federal workplaces. The guidelines are periodically updated and are based on information provided in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2025-2030, which encourages Americans to eat a healthful diet that focuses on foods and beverages that help achieve and maintain a healthy weight, promote health, and prevent disease.
The guidelines provide a framework for:

These standards will apply to food service and concessions operations at Treasury.

The AMA advocates for policies that promote "environmentally sustainable agricultural and food system practices”.
