About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Award a Single Source contract for a Smart Card Access Reader. The 6th Contracting Squadron of the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command intends to award a firm fixed price supply contract to SMARTNET INC for this requirement. The anticipated delivery period is 12 months. The government conducted market research and determined that SMARTNET INC is the only responsible source that can fulfill this requirement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in response to this notice, and a decision to compete this contract is solely at the government's discretion. The key objective is to install a second 24/7 access card reader at the Fitness Center to provide access from the larger South parking lot, reducing congestion at the existing North-facing entrance.
