About this file
This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Single Source Contract. The 60th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit and award a single source contract to ADB SAFEGATE for the replacement of Airfield Lighting Controls at Travis Air Force Base. The procurement is authorized under 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, with the justification being that only one responsible source can satisfy the agency's requirements. The contract will be structured as a firm fixed price service contract with an anticipated performance period of 120 days.
The Government will not bear any costs associated with preparing responses to this notice. Responses will be evaluated solely to determine whether to proceed with a competitive procurement, and the Government reserves the right to conduct a competitive bidding process based on the information received. A detailed Justification and Authorization (J&A) document supporting the single source determination is attached to this notice and provides additional information regarding why ADB SAFEGATE is identified as the only viable source for this requirement.
