NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD

Dear Mr. Meyer:

At their December 9, 2025 meeting, the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved a request from Purchasing to approve awarding the Exterior Renovations of the Floyd County Historic Courthouse to Midwest Maintenance, Inc. in the amount of $424,300.00.

Congratulations!!!

We are sending this intent to award letter to let you know what our intentions are. We are in the process of approving our 2026 Budget and that process won’t be completed until the middle of January. At that point, we will be able to send a Notice to Proceed along with a Purchase Order to begin the work! We wanted to get our project “ear marked” on your schedule in order to give you time to schedule/order any labor, tools, materials, etc.

I will follow up with an official Award Letter when it is possible for us to do so. In the meantime, if there are any questions, please feel free to contact me.

We thank you for your interest in our project and we hope to be back in touch with you in the very near future!

Sincerely, Randy E. Self

Randy E. Self Purchasing Director Floyd County Board of Commissioners
