About this file

This document is a Notice of Intent (NOI) from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for a sole-source contract with REMOTEC, Inc. The FBI intends to negotiate a one-time, firm fixed-price contract to upgrade existing F6B REMOTEC robotic models to the Spartan model. The upgrade is necessary to maintain industry standards and provide technicians with familiarity with field equipment.

The contract will be awarded directly to REMOTEC, Inc. under FAR 6.302-1, as the company is the sole manufacturer and distributor of these proprietary robotic parts and upgrade capabilities. Interested parties may submit capabilities statements via email to Contracting Officer Victoria McDaniels at vmcdaniels@fbi.gov by Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00am CT. The government retains discretion to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on the responses received.
