About this file

This document is a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) file related to a Department of State grant opportunity, though the specific FAQ content is not provided in the materials submitted.

The related federal grant opportunity, "Countering Weaponized Migration to Central and Eastern Europe," is administered by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) under the International Programs to Support Democracy, Human Rights and Labor program (CFDA 19.345). The competition seeks proposals to analyze and counter how malign foreign governments weaponize migration flows targeting Central and Eastern European democracies. Awards are Project Grants, with recent portfolio data indicating typical individual award values ranging from $500,000 to $2 million, though emergency grants may be as low as $10,000. Eligible applicants should consult the solicitation on www.grants.gov for specific deadlines, eligibility criteria, and submission requirements. All funded organizations must comply with 2 CFR Subpart F audit requirements on an annual basis and maintain records for seven years. The program priorities align with U.S. foreign policy objectives to advance democracy, human rights, and rule of law internationally.
