About this file

This is an identification requirements document for access to Naval Navy Shipyard (NNSY) facilities. Effective May 7, 2025, individuals must present either a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or ID card, a federally approved form of identification, or a non-REAL ID with accompanying documentation to enter secure federal facilities and military bases. To obtain a DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) credential, applicants must provide a REAL ID, passport/passport card, or a non-REAL ID combined with a birth certificate and social security card. For NAVSEA badges, proof of U.S. citizenship is required, which may be established through a birth certificate showing U.S. birth, unexpired U.S. passport, Certificate of Naturalization (Form N-550), Certificate of Citizenship (Form N-560), Report of Birth Abroad for U.S. Citizen (Form FS-240), or enhanced driver's licenses from Washington, Vermont, New York, Minnesota, or Michigan. Additionally, acceptable forms of secondary identification include birth certificates, social security cards, military or dependent ID cards, TWIC credentials, permanent resident cards (Form I-551), and naturalization or citizenship certificates. This document establishes the baseline identification standards that prospective offerors, site visitors, and personnel requiring facility access must satisfy for the solicitation N4215826QN017 related to the dismantling and removal of two Hanel Rotomat Vertical Carousels at a Navy facility.
