About this file

This document is a deadline extension notice for two NASA Announcements for Partnership Proposals (AFPPs). NASA's Science Mission Directorate, Earth Science Division, has extended the submission deadline to February 26, 2026 at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time for partnership proposals related to two Earth Science satellite missions: the Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS) (NNH26ZDA002L) and the Orbiting Carbon Observatory 2 (OCO-2) (NNH26ZDA004L). These partnership opportunities seek collaborative arrangements with external partners to support the operations and data collection of these existing satellite missions.

The partnership opportunities are designed to enable more impactful exploitation of NASA resources, advance the commercial remote sensing industry, and support innovative mission operations and access to space. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the dedicated AFPP websites for updates, including announcements of virtual meetings and forums. Technical questions regarding either proposal should be directed to Beth Weinstein, Deputy Associate Director for Flight, at hq-esdpartnerships@mail.nasa.gov. The complete announcement details for each mission are available through the provided NASA links.
