About this file
This document is an email announcement from NASA's Science Mission Directorate (SMD), Earth Science Division (ESD) releasing two Announcements for Partnership Proposals (AFPPs) and one Request for Information (RFI) for Earth Science satellite mission collaborations. The partnership opportunities aim to enhance NASA resource utilization, advance the commercial remote sensing industry, and support innovative mission operations, specifically focusing on three missions: Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS), Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 (OCO-2), and Terra, Aqua, and Aura (TAA) Missions.
The AFPPs and RFI will be released in January 2026, with responses and proposals due in January–February 2026, followed by evaluations and selections estimated in late March 2026. Importantly, NASA will not provide funding under these agreements, which may be Non-Reimbursable or Reimbursable Space Act Agreements. Interested parties are directed to review the detailed information on the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES) and can contact Beth Weinstein, Deputy Associate Director for Flight, at hq-esdpartnerships@mail.nasa.gov for technical questions.
