About this file
This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) for a power inhibit scheme modification for the U.S. Embassy in London. The project requires a contractor to engage United Kingdom Power Network (UKPN) to modify an existing inhibit at the Montford Place primary substation, ensuring the trip signal to the Embassy's generators is sent when auto switching occurs and when specific circuit breakers are open. The contractor must cover all associated UKPN fees, provide all necessary hardware and labor, and complete the work within 45 business days of the purchase order issuance.
Key requirements include submitting a security questionnaire, providing personnel certifications, adhering to strict embassy security protocols, and forwarding a confirmation letter from UKPN upon project completion. The U.S. Government will witness system testing and will only complete payment after UKPN has performed the work, the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) has accepted it, and proof of UKPN payment is provided. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have a permanent UK business address, provide insurance certificates, and demonstrate relevant experience and business capabilities.
