About this file
This document contains an amendment to a request for proposals from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for radiation dosimetry guidance and monitoring services across institutions funded by the Radiation Nuclear Countermeasures Program. The amendment provides responses to business questions, indicating the scope includes approximately 15 institutions with 8 irradiation sources. It clarifies the total number of funded institutions and irradiation devices to be considered. The responses state information on funded institutions is available through the NIH RePORTer database. The RFP seeks a centralized dosimetry harmonization effort to develop consistent means of comparison and reproducibility across projects in the RNCP portfolio. Respondents must demonstrate experience providing irradiation exposure services for non-clinical radiation studies in multiple animal species, and show consistent, accurate dosimetry exposures within a defined radiation system. Proposals are due by July 19, 2019 and must be submitted electronically through the NIAID contracting website.
