Interested vendors must submit electronic capability statements limited to four pages or less to matthew.delgado@nist.gov by the deadline specified in the notice. Responses should include: company name providing and manufacturing the product, country of manufacture/origin, specification sheets and product examples demonstrating experience meeting requirements, typical lead time after order receipt, and any other relevant information for specification development. Company sales brochures and marketing materials will not be considered, and no quotes will be accepted at this time.
The requirement is classified under NAICS code 334419 (Other Electronic Component Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 750 employees. NIST is seeking responses from all responsible sources—large and small businesses—to determine if at least two qualified small businesses can fulfill the requirement. If two or more small businesses are identified during this market research phase that meet the specifications, the acquisition will be solicited as a small business set-aside. Following market research completion and analysis, NIST may conduct a competitive or non-competitive procurement through sam.gov and subsequently award a contract. Vendors must clearly indicate the country where the product is manufactured in their responses.
