RFQ Change: Add Attachment 8 Ladder Photos.
2. Question: (A) Is there a procurement history for these units for us to run a cost comparison with? (B) Are there any packaging requirements or (C) would a skid and shrink wrap be acceptable?

Answer. No RFQ Change: None
4. Question: (A) I want to also know if the shipping schedule that is attached to this solicitation is the actual shipping schedule for the first 359 days of this contract that needs to be filled or is this an example of what you are thinking may need be filled? This shipping schedule is the same quantity in the MIN Schedule of prices in attachment 1. (B) Just verifying that this is what we need to quote for shipment and the time frame called out in this schedule. (C) I understand that 10 more could be added as well.
Answer:
(A) Reference revised Attachment 3, Ladder Delivery Schedule, is for the initial order which will be for the minimum quantities shown in revised Attachment 1, Schedule of Prices for Base Year CLINs 0002 and 0003.
Reference Attachment 5, NARA Terms and Conditions (Addenda to FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions) Paragraph 2, Delivery.
Reference Revised Attachment 3, Ladder Delivery Schedule, Column titled Delivery days ARO and revised Notes.
(B) Reference revised Attachment 1, Schedule of Prices, heading information, “TOTAL

5. Question: After a preview of this project I have a question regarding the Preproduction submission for detailed build drawings in attachment 1 (Schedule Of Prices). There is a line item to submit a price for these drawings. In attachment 7 (Quotation Submission Form) under CAD drawing of ladder: it is stated the government will not pay for this. It is my understanding in the drawing that is not paid for is just a solid model showing where the components get placed. The drawings the government will pay for are detailed fabrication and weld drawings for build purposes I just want to make sure I have this right?
Answer: You are correct.
RFQ Change: None
6. Question: Is there any way you could provide pictures of the pulpit/file shelf on one of the current ladders you already have? It’s difficult to understand what exactly you are looking for based on the pictures and sketches provided. Also, if possible please provide a picture that shows the entire ladder so we can see the framing layout and any supporting pipes that are required.
Answer: See Question 1 above.
RFQ Change: None
7. Question: The tubing called out for these units are 1.375" OD X 1.081" ID and is a size that is not readily available. Can we use 1.375" OD X a 1.125" ID to fabricate these from?
Answer: Yes. See attached revised Attachment 7 – Quotation Submission Form, Page 1, revised Block 3.
RFQ Change: Delete Attachment 7 – Quotation Submission Form and substitute with the attached revised Attachment 7.
8. Question: After looking a bit closer we would recommend using a schedule 40 Alum Pipe size. Schedule 40 (6063-T6) is 1.315" OD X 1.049" ID that equates to .133" wall thickness.
This would be the closes size to what was called out in the spec. You can get this off the shelf just about anywhere that supplies Aluminum Material.
Answer: See answer to Question 7.
RFQ Change: None
