About this file
This document contains a safety data sheet template and information about a federal contract opportunity for construction services. The safety data sheet template requests safety-related information from offerors, including experience modification rates, days away from work rates, and total recordable case rates for the previous three years. It also asks offerors to describe their plans for evaluating safety performance and ensuring safe work practices among subcontractors.
The related federal contract opportunity is a design-build and design-bid-build indefinite delivery indefinite quantity multiple award construction contract for the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay in Georgia. Work may include construction, repair, and renovations at Navy facilities in the region. The requirement is set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The North American Industry Classification code is 236220 for commercial and institutional building construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation is being conducted by the Department of the Navy's Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast.
