Statement of Work for PID ___________
05AUG2025
The supplier shall calibrate the laboratory equipment for the Materials Engineering Branch at Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division at China Lake, CA. Specific instructions and requirements are listed below:
1. Calibrate various lab equipment (see separate calibration list)
2. Calibration contract shall be as a base year and 2 option years.
3. All calibration shall be in accordance with ISO-17025.
4. The supplier shall be accredited to ISO-17025 for all items listed.
5. All calibration shall be performed in place at the Materials Engineering Branch Laboratory in Building 02466, Rooms 2000 through 2019, of the Michelson Laboratory complex, Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake, CA, 93555, except as noted in paragraph 5.
1. Expected on-site calibration time is not to exceed 2 business days, unless otherwise arranged with the Materials Engineering POC
2. Vendor shall provide personnel info for badge requests to Materials Engineering POC not less than 30 days prior to on-site date
3. Materials Engineering POC will provide badge request forms upon contract release
6. Supplier shall calibrate all items in the Materials Engineering Branch Laboratory with the exception of the following, which may be calibrated at the supplier’s facility:
1. Weights
2. Gage Blocks
3. Hygrometers
4. Ring Gages
7. Any other items that require off-site calibration shall have prior approval from the Materials Engineering POC.
8. All off-site items shall be returned to the Materials Engineering Branch within 1 week, unless otherwise arranged with the Materials Engineering POC.
9. Documentation. The following documentation shall be provided:
1. All calibrated equipment or the storage box shall be marked with a sticker giving the following:
i. Calibration date
ii. Calibration expiration date
iii. Vendor name
2. Certificate of Calibration for each of the items
i. Certificates may be provided as hard copies or electronically (PDF, Word, Excel, etc), to the Materials Engineering POC
ii. Certificates shall be provided no later than 2 weeks after completion of work
