The following have been added by full text:
AMENDMENT 0001
The purpose of this amendment is to post the following contractor generated questions with corresponding Government answers:
1. Question: It is assumed that the value given for a parameter in the specification is the designed value that will be verified by testing, not a statistical mean value for a sample of units produced. Is this correct?
Answer: Correct, every value given in the specification is the design value that will be verified by testing each unit.
2. Question: 4.8 Temperature and Humidity – Is compliance with a specification for humidity other than for 10-30 degree Celsius acceptable?
Answer: The RFVSG shall be in compliance with the specification stated in the SOW. No other specification is acceptable. Humidity specifications are based upon the environment in which the instrument will be required to perform.
3. Question: 4.15.7 RF Output CW Amplitude Accuracy – Is compliance with an alternate specification for RF output CW amplitude accuracy acceptable?
Answer: The RFVSG shall be in compliance with the specification stated in the Statement of Work (SOW). No other specification is acceptable. The amplitude accuracy specification is based upon NAVAIR use requirements.
4. Question: 4.15.9 RF Output SWR – Is compliance with an alternate specification for RF output SWR acceptable?
Answer: The RFVSG shall be in compliance with the specification stated in the SOW. No other specification is acceptable. The output SWR specification is based on NAVAIR use requirements.
5. Question: 4.15.14 RF Output CW Residual AM – Is compliance with an alternate specification for RF output CW residual AM acceptable?
Answer: The RFVSG shall be in compliance with the specification stated in the SOW. No other specification is acceptable.
6. Question: 4.15.15 RF Output CW Residual FM – Is compliance with an alternate specification for RF output CW residual FM acceptable?
Answer: The RFVSG shall be in compliance with the specification stated in the SOW. No other specification is acceptable.
7. Question: 4.15.16 RF Output CW Residual ΦM – What is the starting frequency?
Answer: 300 Hz.
8. Question: 4.15.28 Incidental AM - What is the "peak" that is referred to in the requirement?
Answer: +/-peak/2 is the type of detector selected on the UUT which is a modulation analyzer.
9. Question: 4.15.39 Pulse Rise/Fall Times – Is compliance with an alternate specification for pulse rise/fall times acceptable?
Answer: The RFVSG shall be in compliance with the specification as stated in the SOW. No other specification is acceptable.
10. Question: 4.15.42 RF Output – Is compliance with an alternate specification for maximum reverse power for a carrier frequency acceptable?
Answer: The RFVSG shall be in compliance with the specification stated in the SOW. No other specification is acceptable. The reverse power specification is based upon NAVAIR use requirements.
11. Question: 4.15.44 External I/Q Modulation Inputs – Is compliance with an alternate specification for input damage level voltage acceptable?
Answer: The RFVSG shall be in compliance with the specification stated in the SOW. No other specification is acceptable. The input damage level specification is based upon NAVAIR use requirements.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
