Question:

Are you looking to get this training at your location? Or are they traveling to us? Do we need to provide housing or will you have the accommodations set up?

Answer: Personnel will travel for training, housing provided through DTS (Defense Travel System).

We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.

If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

Answer: New Contract

Is this request for a stand alone course for the 5-10 members or is the request to send members to existing courses being delivered? Option for both?

Answer: Send 5 members to an existing courses being delivered

Do you know approximately how many will be taking this training? Is it a one time or in a recurrence basis?

These firefighters are already EMT's?

Answer: Firefighter NREMT Basic certification

Question:

We are approved by the Bureau of EMS, CIE (State of Florida), ABHES (National Accreditation), and CoAEMSP for a 10 month course, 200 hours of clinical internship, and 400 hours of ride internship for a total of 1122 hours. If you need 6 6-month course duration with "168 hours of Hospital" and "576 hours of Rides" we will need to petition the accrediting agencies for approval. Are these time frames and hours set in stone or flexible? The NREMT standards are 200 hours for clinical and 400 for rides.
