About this file

This document contains updated specifications for Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0002 under federal contract N6660426Q0256. The specifications detail requirements for a subsea hydraulic actuator product intended for underwater operations.

The product must operate in subsea environments at depths up to 200 meters and remain fully functional after one month of non-operating submersion in seawater. The actuator must be capable of actuating loads up to 16,000 pounds when operated at 2,000 PSI, with a minimum stroke length of 65 inches. The product shall hold loads at extended positions without hydraulic pressure supplied, with a preference for achieving this capability through a mechanical locking device. Additionally, the product must automatically arrest loads in the event of hydraulic pressure loss, providing fail-safe load holding capability.
