About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) seeking qualified mechanical fabricators to fabricate, produce, assemble, test, package, and deliver hardware according to government-provided drawings. The RFI is a direct follow-on to BPA N6660421AJ101-106 and serves as market research to identify potential sources prior to issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The applicable NAICS code is 332710 (Machine Shops) with a small business size standard of 500 employees. NUWCDIVNPT anticipates releasing the RFQ in late June 2026, with the resulting contract vehicle structured as a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) provisions. The acquisition may be set aside for Unrestricted, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Women-Owned, HUBZone, or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses depending on RFI responses.
Interested businesses must submit a capability statement package not exceeding five pages (single-spaced, 12-point font) to Levi Andrews, Contract Specialist, at levi.s.andrews2.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 1400 EST on June 3, 2026. Questions or comments must be submitted by 1400 EST on May 27, 2026, with no extensions permitted and late responses not considered. The capability statement must include: company name and address, confirmation of size status under NAICS Code 332710, ownership status (small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), women-owned, HUBZone, or service disabled veteran-owned), two points of contact with details, CAGE Code and DUNS Number, company facilities and equipment descriptions, controlled storage facilities for government-furnished property, and current or planned Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) level. Technical Data Packages are expected to contain documents ranging from CMMC Level I (self) to CMMC Level II (C3PAO). No drawings are provided for this RFI; instead, Attachment #1 contains a Draft Statement of Work describing the types of items to be fabricated. The RFI explicitly disclaims any obligation to award a contract, constitutes no solicitation commitment, and indicates that no funds are available for proposal preparation.

No drawing will be provided for this RFI.
