About this file
This file is a technical requirements document detailing the test and inspection criteria for a High Pressure Proximity Sensor (part number 53X-00-100). The document outlines specific pass criteria for multiple test types including physical inspections, electrical measurements, and functional performance requirements.
The testing requirements encompass basic physical inspections (jam nut threading, connector mating, marking), electrical specifications (insulation resistance >10 MΩ for all leads, HiPot tests), and detailed functional parameters. Key functional requirements include signal voltage ranges of 4.0-7.2 VDC in nondetect state and <0.8 VDC in detect state, with current limits of <200 mA for signal current and <20 mA for supply current. The sensor must achieve a Monel 400 target sensing distance of 1.0 ±0.1 mm for both on-to-off and off-to-on transitions. The document also specifies extensive reversed wiring test requirements for various lead combinations (supply, signal, and reference) with specific voltage and current parameters for each configuration.
