N6660423Q0612 Q&A Posted 14 August 2023 Question 1: Our GD&T Course outline differs from the course outline presented in the RFQ. We present information in a different stream – is there flexibility here?

Answer 1: If this question is just regarding the order material is presented, the solicitation does not specify an order in which the material must be presented.

Question 2: We currently offer our Level 1 GD&T course as 20 hours and Level 2 course as 20 hours. We can deliver as 4 hrs/day for 5 days or customize content to increase to a 5 day, 8 hr engagement. Is there flexibility here as well?

Answer 2: The solicitation does not specify the number of hours required for each course.

Question 3: Is the current award date going to be around 9/30/23?

Answer 3: The Government intends to award in August and the base CLIN 0001 POP will be from date of award through 10/31/2023.

Question 4: Is it okay to follow our course outline for GD&T Training or do we need to follow the course topics listed? If not, can the order be changed between courses (Applied vs Review) as well or just within a course? The reason I ask is because it states, “The course shall cover (but is not limited to).. where we may present the topic in the 2nd course versus 1st course.

Answer 4: Each course must, at a minimum, cover the topics listed within the applicable SOW task.

Question 5: Would there be flexibility for when the first course took place?

Answer 5: The specific timing for the base course will be scheduled after award at a mutually agreed upon date prior to 10/31/2023.

Question 6: To what specific version of the ASME Y14.5 Standard is training to be taught? (-1994, -2009, or -2018) Answer 6: primarily 2018, but a review of 2009 would be helpful.

Question 7: Is the expectation that both of the listed courses be completed over five 8-hour days in two consecutive weeks, or separate weeks?

Answer 7: Each course shall be completed over a consecutive 5 days. Option courses shall be completed at a mutually agreeable time within the CLIN period of performance after option exercise. The Government can, but may not necessarily, exercise CLINs for the two courses at the same time.

Question 8: Are you open to a discussion on optimizing the delivery of the content listed in the statement of work? Our best practices involve a carefully structured delivery to make the content more palatable.

Answer 8: Offerors are able to quote for any desired course structure as long as it meets the minimum requirements set forth in the statement of work.

Question 9: Will the same groups of people be progressing through both courses consecutively?

Answer 9: Not necessarily.
