About this file
This is a specification document for the procurement of 800 custom hanging KVM mount brackets to be fabricated and delivered by a contractor. The brackets are constructed from aluminum (0.080" thick Aluminum 6061-T6 for the main piece, 0.035" thick for KVM support brackets, and 3/16" thick for L brackets) and measure 20" x 14.5" with design features including tapped holes for screw attachment, Velcro strap slots, and knurled screw clamps for desk mounting. The brackets must be finished with black powder coat and include rubber stops on clamps and rubber pads on L brackets to protect desktop surfaces. All fabrication must adhere to standard tolerances of +/- 0.010" unless otherwise specified in the engineering drawings provided separately.
The contractor's scope of work encompasses material procurement, fabrication (cutting, bending, drilling), surface finishing, quality assurance inspection, and delivery to 2515 Aviation Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80916. Deliverables include 800 completed units with an initial test article for government approval, a Certificate of Conformance, and a detailed packing list. The government will inspect all brackets upon receipt for dimensional accuracy, surface finish quality, and correct quantity, with any non-compliant parts requiring replacement at no additional cost to the government. This procurement is structured as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside with award on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis to the responsible offeror offering the most advantageous quote.
