Revision C is the Government’s latest version of this drawing.
Will the Government provide and buy in accordance with Revision C? Or, is outdated Revision B being purchased?
8554696 Revision C is the latest and shall be used for this contract. The excel worksheet is updated to show Revision C.
5. Drawing 20534657, STANDOFF, MODIFIED, states: “SEE SEPARATE PARTS LIST”. This parts list is not provided as part of the technical data package. Please provide.
The parts list drawing was missing and is now being provided.
6. Drawing 7110988, EXTRUSION, T-SLOT PROFILE, Note 1 states that overall length tolerance will be within + or - 0.2mm of specified length. These extrusions are made to be cut to length by the supplier. The suppliers only guarantee + or – 1.0mm. Is the 0.2mm tolerance required or can it be changed to 1.0mm?
No, the Contractor cannot change any Government drawing requirements. The Government drawing requirements shall be used. "Proposal Estimate Qty" is the quantity the offeror will use to propose for evaluation.
Government provided the proposal estimate quantity in order to help the offeror to get an idea of the quantity of a CLIN should that CLIN item is ordered in a delivery order.
7. On the revised Attachment 2 - Pricing Matrix Rev A 12-22- 2015, the column "Proposal Estimate Quantity" was added.
Is this estimated quantity cover the life of the contract or individual orders or annual demand?
“Proposal Estimate Qty” is the quantity the offeror will use to propose for evaluation purposes.
Government provided the proposal estimate quantity in order to help the offeror to get an idea of the quantity of a CLIN should that CLIN item is ordered in a delivery order.
8. When reviewing the Parts list for Drawing # 8554696 “v2 ATDC Frame Kit”. We want to clarify that our Navy expects this complete kit per the parts list, including all fabricated metal pcs. These frame pcs are listed separately in the CLIN Deliverables? Just checking because, the frame itself is pretty pricy.
For CLIN 0254, the Government expects the entire kit to be manufactured, assembled and delivered as defined by drawing 8554696.
Certain manufactured pieces are listed separately in other CLINs, and may be independently ordered as separate deliverables. Note that drawing 8554696 references drawing 8501850 only as a diagram on what the assembled kit will look like.
Contractors shall NOT include electronics parts shown on drawing 8501850 in their quote, drawing 8501850 is for reference only.
9 The provided Price matrix distributed in attachment 2. The cell calculations are multiplying cells [K] Estimated qty.
multiplied by [L] estimated unit price equaling [M] Proposal Contract Amount (Max. Qty x Prop. Est. Unit Price). K*L=M.
As the equation in cell includes minimum yet the title in column states maximum.
Cell formula is revised to calculate maximum quantity multiplied by proposal estimate unit price. (I*L=M)
10 We are not sure if you want the price for the Maximum or Minimum quantities.
Solicitation Amendment 1 already states: " The Government does not guarantee the award of the maximum quantities or “Proposal Estimate Quantity” in Attachment # 2, and the unit price should be proposed accordingly. Quantities for each order also cannot be guaranteed."
Government provided the proposal estimate quantity in order to help the offeror to get an idea of the quantity of a CLIN should that CLIN item is ordered in a delivery order.
