Answers to Industry Questions:
Q u e st io n N u m b e r
Industry's Question Government Response
In the BOM, it specifies a 120 V AC beacon, however the part number and description are for a 12V DC beacon. Per the requirements, section 3.7, is the intention that the Government provides 120V AC common electrical power to power the beacon and light switch? Will alternative methods be considered, including a low voltage beacon?
The Government will allow alternate methods including a low voltage beacon as long as it is compatible with the existing system.
We wish to propose a more modern CCTV, especially for the NVR. Can equivalent products be specified, or are the camera and NVR brands/models strict requirements?
The parts on the Bill of Materials (BOM) are brand name or equal that can meet our specifications.
Could you please confirm if this opportunity is brand name only, or if we can quote you any other brand with similar or better specifications?
Please refer to the Government response on Question No 2.

3.3 The Contractor shall provide a detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for all equipment ( ) DEL03
3.4 The Contractor shall provide the Letter of Warranty detailing all manufacturer and contractor warranties and its terms and conditions ( ).DEL04
3.5 Training: The Contractor shall provide one (1) hour of hands-on-training after the successful system installation.
The training shall be clear, effective instructions to users to understand and control the expanded system. Training shall include the basic details required to understand the intended system's workflow, equipping the user to confidently operate the primary functions of the expanded system.
3.6 Installation Warranty: The Contractor shall warrant the system from all defects in materials or workmanship for a warranty period of one (1) year from installation completion for parts and sixty (60) days for labor. Specifics must be included with quote for review and inclusion in the contract after acceptance by the Contracting Officer and Government Technical Point of Contact (TPOC).
3.7 The Contractor will provide all low voltage cabling required for system operation while NCIS will provide 120 Volt Alternating Current (VAC) outlets where required.
4. TASKS
CAMERA INSTALLATION:
4.1 Install one (1) camera within the second-floor hallway outside of the NCIS space to monitor the entry door of Room 200.
