· Electrical and RF energy transmission shielding, mitigate by 3 order of magnitude, if possible, 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless network RF signals with max signal strength (in the fatigue lab) of 320 mV/m (alternatively 266 microwatts/m^2). That is reduce these signals to 0.3mV/m of less if possible.
· 8' x 24' Ortho 2 Mat w/ NO BEVEL
· Certified UL fire rated materials A diagram of the type of booths desired is below:
Q: What level of acoustic isolation is required (STC) of the walls and ceiling.
A: Reduction down to 30 dB at 125 hz, and 53 dB at 4000 hz
Q: I am interested in the RF isolation. All of which is achievable assuming we put in a floor and the proper isolation on the power and penetrations (waveguides in the HVAC and isolators in the connectors) etc. How will the RF isolation be tested?
A: Generally, we input a known signal to our physiological amplifiers and look at the noise in the signal.
Q: What is the floor to be installed on? Can you define Gym floor; for example is that rubber matt or hardwood? Is the sound booth to have a floor provided or will it be installed on a slab? If true RF isolation is needed we would need to install a conductive plane in some manner.
A:The booths will be placed on the existing floor of the room which is a slab. There is a weight limit of 9,000 lbs. A rubber matt is preferred.
Q: Is the height listed (7-2") to be the interior height and what is the ceiling construction finish?
A: The total height of the booths 7'2" due to required space between top of booth and ceiling in room. The target internal height shall be 6'10", but not less than 6'9".
Q: Please advise if the booth needs to be shipped fully pre-assembled, or as component parts.
A: The booth should not be shipped fully assembled, but easy to assemble in place.
