About this file

This file is a facility layout diagram for Hangar 5500 at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan. The document visually depicts the spatial configuration and dimensions of the hangar space where the V-22 Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) production line will be installed. The layout shows the hangar's structural elements, floor plan, and available square footage, providing contractors with critical facility information necessary for planning the installation of MRO equipment, workstations, and operational areas within the designated space.

This attachment serves as a planning and reference tool for prospective quoters responding to solicitation N6264926RC001. Contractors must use the hangar layout to assess their ability to design and execute the production line installation, including equipment placement, workflow efficiency, personnel movement, and compliance with facility constraints. The layout is essential for developing accurate cost estimates and technical proposals, particularly for contractors authorized to operate in Japan under DFARS 225.1103(3) requirements.
