About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document addressing clarifications for a follow-on wireless services contract. The requirement involves cellular services for approximately 100 smartphones and 43 Mobile WiFi (MiFi) devices, with a total of 133 lines requiring roaming capability to the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). The previous contract number is N6824624F058, indicating this is a continuation of existing services rather than a new procurement.

Key technical and operational parameters clarified include: the Government has no preference for iOS or Android devices, provided all devices meet the salient technical requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement; there is no specific speed requirement for the MiFi devices; and only two phone numbers require porting from an existing carrier, with the remaining activations being new. Roaming to FSM occurs on a sporadic basis dependent on unpredictable mission requirements, with no consistent historical data available for frequency or monthly usage estimates. The devices are unclassified with no specific security, coverage, or device management requirements mandated as part of the wireless solution.
