About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file related to a Naval Supply Systems Command solicitation for submarine weight test equipment fabrication. The procurement (Solicitation Number N6264925QH025) is a Total Small Business Set-Aside for commercial products under NAICS code 33999, with a small business size standard of 550 employees. The government requires a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for fabricating weight test equipment, weight testing, and non-destructive weld testing, referencing NAVSEA drawing 709-5032448, with a required delivery date of 80 days and a lead time targeting 01 September 2025.
The solicitation includes multiple standard federal contracting provisions and clauses covering areas such as cybersecurity, subcontractor requirements, equal opportunity, employment verification, and telecommunications equipment restrictions. Quotations must be submitted by the response date and time listed in Contract Opportunities, with the government potentially not responding to questions received less than 5 days before the quotation due date. The procurement is being conducted as a combined synopsis/solicitation, meaning quotations are being directly requested without a separate written solicitation, and will be evaluated according to the specified commercial products and services criteria.
