About this file
This document contains a safety data sheet template and information on a federal contract opportunity for a multiple award construction contract. The safety data sheet requests safety information from offerors, including experience modification rates, days away from work or job transfer rates, and total recordable case rates for the previous three years. It also asks offerors to explain any rates over certain thresholds or negative trends. The federal contract opportunity is issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command for new construction, repair, and renovation of commercial and institutional facilities in several western states. It is set aside for HUBZone small businesses and has an estimated maximum value of $495 million over a potential five-year period. Evaluation factors include technical approach, experience, past performance, safety, technical solution, and price. The selection will be based on best value.
