ACMS – Optional Engine Parameters – Four ARINC 429 busses from the Common Display System (CDS) Display Electronic Units (DEU) to the DFDAU (two from the DEU). These busses provide AMCS access to all of the parameters from both channels of the Electrical Engine Control (EEC). CDS has the over and under engine presentation.

- Description of CDS Display – over and under Engine presentation:

Display flight and navigation data in the Primary Flight Display (PFD)/Navigation Display (ND) format. Display primary engine indications on the upper display unit and secondary engine indications on the lower display unit. Engine data is be displayed in a format similar to that used on the Boeing 757, 767, and 777 airplanes.

Secondary engine parameters are displayed when selected by the flight crew via the ENG switch on the engine control panel or automatically in the event of a parameter exceedance.
