Government Responses to RFC 01-05 N4523A24R1068 YT-808 ROH
01) Question: What is the docking plan and general arrangement?
Response: Docking plan drawing (8774050 Rev 2) is listed in the original SOW and included in the drawings package. REV 5 of the General Arrangement (8775054 Rev 5) was not included in the SOW.
Amendment 0001 addresses this change and includes and updated SOW to include Errata 1.
02) Question: What is the hull type?
Response: The hull is steel. See section 1.1 on the SOW.
03) Question: Would the Government consider expanding the area of performance to include the Vancouver region?
Response: No as the YT-808 is not able to go in the open ocean.
04) Question: Will another opportunity for a ship check be available before bids are due?
Response: Amendment 0002 is to add another ship check date. The vessel will be available for another ship check on August 27.
05) Question: Would the Government consider adjusting the period of performance to commence in March 2025, rather than conclude in March 2025?
Response: The Government is unable to accommodate adjustment of period of performance.
