About this file
This document contains government responses to requests for clarification on a solicitation for maintenance, repair, and preservation of a large harbor tug. The solicitation seeks a firm-fixed-price contract to drydock, clean, perform hull and system maintenance, undertake repairs, and undock YT-803 at the contractor's facility between September 2022 and January 2023. Responses indicate as-built drawings are unavailable, the first 5-year maintenance was completed in 2016 on propulsion components, and the statement of work errata replaces references to operational test procedures. The solicitation was amended to remove certification requirements. Offerors must register with SAM to receive awards from the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command.
