SOLICITATION N4215821QN014

AMENDMENT 1

1. If these requirements are being performed by a contractor currently or have been performed in the past?

This is a new requirement.

2. Could you please provide the associated incumbent contract or task order numbers?

This is a new requirement.

3. Do all meteorologists need to be CCM or just the lead forecaster of the team?

The requirement is to have a CCM available 24 hours daily to discuss threats to and clarify forecasts for NNSY/Portsmouth, VA.

4. Do other qualifications such as advanced degrees or time in industry/experience suffice for AMS certification requirements?

Negative. The AMS certification is the requirement.

5. Do you anticipate overnight briefings or will overnight correspondence mainly be limited to “on call/as needed”?

Overnight briefings and correspondence are not planned. Even though national or regional conditions may not warrant an ad hoc overnight response, our local conditions and high value assets require that we have a responsive partner in weather monitoring and notification at all times. Our work force is engaged around the clock.
