Amendment of Solicitation Summary

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by CG MCAS Cherry Point Facilities, ROICC for solicitation 7318448 regarding carpet replacement in offices at VMGR252, Building 4305, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC. Amendment 0002, effective September 9, 2026, extends the proposal due date from September 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM to September 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM. The amendment also indicates that the deadline for submitting pre-award Requests for Information (RFI) has passed. The government acknowledges that proposals may have already been submitted under the original deadline and requests that contractors either resubmit new proposed pricing or confirm in writing that their original proposal remains valid.

The Pre-Award Inquiry Form documents eight RFIs submitted between August 19 and August 31, 2026, with government responses posted in Amendment 0002. Key clarifications include: the estimated project magnitude is less than $25,000.00; cove base replacement will be on an as-needed basis due to unknown floor conditions; substrate preparation requires scraping or mechanically grinding residual adhesive and filling cracks and spalls with high-strength cementitious underlayment; Room 107 requires tile flooring removal with the same substrate preparation standards; bidders should bid per specifications as written regarding hazardous materials; and work must be performed during off-hours (nights/weekends) with rooms ready for occupant reoccupancy the following day due to space constraints.
