About this file
This document is an Addendum (0001) to a Statement of Work (SOW) for replacing the generator at Building 372 at NAS Oceana, Dam Neck Annex in Virginia Beach, VA. The addendum details comprehensive requirements for demolishing the existing 208V generator and automatic transfer switch, and installing a new 125kW, 208/120V, 3-phase generator with specific technical specifications. Key installation requirements include a corrosion-resistant aluminum enclosure with Level 1 sound attenuation, factory-applied coating system, battery charger, local annunciator, and jacket water heater.
The addendum also specifies detailed infrastructure modifications, including installing a new generator grounding system, a 400A service entrance rated automatic transfer switch with maintenance bypass, new disconnect switch, and power/control conductors. A critical requirement is the fuel tank, which must be an above-ground, double-walled, stainless-steel, factory-fabricated diesel storage sub-base tank conforming to UL 2085 standards, with secondary containment, electronic overfill and leak detection systems, and capacity for 24-hour continuous operation under full load.
