INQUIRIES ON COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION # N4008524Q2510

HVAC TRAINING

AMENDMENT 0002

1. QUESTION:

Are the students/employees meant to complete the HVAC Certification within a year or is a shorter time frame required?

RESPONSE:

Though it’s highly recommended, students are not required to certify for their license. Some classes will prepared them and provide credits for maintaining and renewals. Other classes listed in the SOW will provide other KSAs, such as Advance Electro-Mechanical Controls.

2. QUESTION:

Is there a specific credential type required? e.g. NCCER/Trade Certification or is it meant to be College Level classes? I ask because, the SOW 1.2.2 mentions "continuous education credits". Per my understanding, credit (CE) courses are normally offered by colleges.

RESPONSE:

I am referring to the credits required to keep trades license current, they do not need to be college level classes, but are required to be DPOR approved and count toward renewals.
