AMENDMENT 0005

The purpose of this amendment is to provide the following information:

1. Questions and Answers

Question 1: Should contactor used the drawings or asbesots report for Buildings M203 and 41?

Answer 1: The numbers on the plans are correct. Items listed on Government report are not drawn into plan, see government report for locations.

Question 2: Will contractor need an engineer to certify the demo plan?

Answer 2: No, contractor will not need an engineer to certify demo plan.

Question 3: Will contractor be able to group buildings or just do one at a time?

Answer 3: Contractor can group buildings.

Question 4: Will a contractor have to completely start to finsh each building before moving onto others or be starting preep work at next building?

Answer 4: Contractor can group buildings, work can coincide.

Question 5: Is ther any special class or certification needed to work on building at the airfield behind the fence. Is that considered restricted area?

Answer 5: Airfield flight line access will have to be obtained throught MCAS OPS/PMO prior to any work commecning inside of the flight line.

Question 6: Drawlings show the environmental protection needed for the project, this has been completed by engineer and approved for the drawlings. Does the contracotr also have to provide an environmental protection plan? Does the government have the permit?

Answer 6: An environmental protection plan is required per the speifications. All project environmental permits (Erosion Control) have been secured for the project.

Question 7: Does Camp Lejeune require a bid bond?

Answer 7: Refer to BID Delivery Instructions on page 38 of solicitation.

Question 8: Landfill needs a letter to use the landfill and drop off scrap steel. Is there a fee for contractor to use landfill? Does the government pay contractor for scap steel?

Answer 8: A landfill letter is not required for recycables. The government will not pay for materials dropped on base. If materials are being landfilled a landfill use letter will be required before drop off and procedures will be explained.

2. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
