Descriptions of proposed additional materials or task descriptions shall be prepared in accordance with the “Preparation of Work Scopes for Specific Work” paragraph, including appropriate performance standard task references and the scope submitted to the Contractor for review shall be returned to the
ACO within 14 calendar days after receipt.
c. Establishing Final Cost for Specific Work. Once a bilateral agreement is reached, the final cost will be a firm fixed-price Task Order for the work described.
(1) Established Total Labor Cost. The total labor cost will be determined by totaling the number of performance standard labor hours for each craft (trade) and then multiplying by the appropriate labor hour unit price from the Schedule of Indefinite
Quantity Work. This procedure will be followed for each craft required to perform the work. The total for all crafts is the total labor cost.
(2) Establishing Total Material Cost. Material prices provided by the Contractor shall be the lowest available list price, considering the availability of materials and the time constraints of the job. The direct material price shall be reduced by all discounts and rebates for core value or salvage value that accrue to the contractor. The total direct material cost for the job will be multiplied by the Contractors fixed burden rate from the
“MATERIAL TO SUPPORT UNIT PRICED LABOR” contract Exhibit Line item, Section B, to determine the total burden material cost for the Job.
d. Ordering Work. The ACO will order work by issuing to the contractor a copy of the approved summary scope of work and a Task Order for the work covered by the approved scope of work.
