About this file

This amendment to a solicitation provides answers to proposal questions for a facility investment services contract for Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in North Carolina. The amendment responds to questions about tool calibration requirements, stating that calibration is required yearly for 50% of tools, and that tools may be sent off-site for calibration so long as at least 50% of each tool type remains available for use at all times. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for a performance-based facility support services contract to provide maintenance, repair, and other services at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and surrounding areas. Services include response to service orders, HVAC and boiler system work, fire protection, medical gases, sewage treatment, and more. The estimated value is over $3 million annually for recurring services. The contract term is one base year with four one-year options, not to exceed five years total. The solicitation will be issued on or around May 29, 2019. The opportunity is open only to service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.
