About this file
This is a Notice 2 (Questions and Answers document) for RFP N40084-26-Q-1017 issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Far East, dated 11 September 2026. The document addresses a single Request for Information question regarding the procurement of an aerial platform for Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Far East.
The only substantive content is a Q&A clarifying procurement requirements. A prospective quoter inquired whether a US-manufactured aerial platform with assembly conducted in China (using no Chinese-sourced components) would be acceptable. The Government's response clarifies that it does not pre-evaluate quotes or proposed items, and that quoters are solely responsible for ensuring any item offered fully meets all RFQ requirements. The document notes that the RFQ remains unchanged unless amended in writing on a Standard Form 30, and distribution is limited to DoD community only.
