SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE (SF 30)

The following have been added by full text:

AMENDMENT 0003

The purpose of this amendment is as follows:

(1) Provide Government to Offeror’s inquiries Questions No. 4 through No. 10.

(2) All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

4 It is indicated that "A maximum of eight (8) Offerors will be selected to submit a Phase Two proposal".

May we interpret the clause as below:

"An Offeror shall submit Phase One (non-price) documents ONLY by the proposal due date, and only selected offerors shall submit Phase Two (price) documents"?

Yes, that is correct

5 If the answer for the question above is "YES",

(1) How long do you anticipate it will take about to notify the selection results from the bid close?

(2) How long do you anticipate it will take about to submit the Phase Two documents from the date of the notification?

上記の質問への回答がYESの場合、

(1) 入札〆切日から選抜結果の通知までは何日程度を想定しているでしょうか? (2) 結果の通知からフェーズ2の書類の提出までには何日程度を想定しているでしょうか

The notification of selection will depend on the amount of time needed to complete review and evaluation of the Phase I proposals. A projection of time cannot be provided at this time.

The proposal due date will be specified at the time of the Phase II Request for Proposal.

6 Should we submit only phase I documents by due date ( 12 Oct 2021 ) ? Yes, that is correct. As noted in solicitation amendment 0002, the current proposal due date for Phase I proposals is Tuesday, 12 October 2021, 02:30 PM Japanese Standard Time.

7 If we should submit phase two documents by due date ( 12 Oct 2012), the schedule is very tight.

Is it possible to extend the proposal due date?

Please see the answers above.

8 If MACC award contractors decline to submit an offer for a large project task order, can MACC award contractors join the task order project as a subcontractor of another MACC award contractor?

Yes, you could.

9 Will there be another site visit scheduled for phase 2 price proposal? If selected to proceed to phase two, we would like to have a chance to bring our elctrical, HVAC, and fire protection team together with our subcontractors to investigate the site before price proposal.

Yes, a second site visit can be scheduled during the phase 2 solicitation.

Please note, similar to the site visit conducted during phase 1, there may be a limitation on the number of participants depending on the COVID-19 situation at that time.

10 When does the Government plan to make selection and announce the offerors who can proceed to Phase Two?

Phase Two へ進める業者の発表は政府からいつ頃通知されますか?

Please see the answers above.
